1. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information: • Gameplay Statistics — Match results, hero picks, item builds, KDA, GPM/XPM, lane performance, and other in-game metrics obtained through Dota 2's Game State Integration (GSI) API and public APIs (OpenDota, STRATZ). • Coaching Data — AI-generated coaching advice, decision evaluations, skill progression, neutral item choices, and session analytics produced during your use of LaneMind. • Account Information — Steam ID (publicly available), display name, avatar, rank medal, email address (if you create a LaneMind account), and subscription/billing status. • Technical Data — App version, operating system, error logs, and anonymized usage analytics to help us diagnose issues and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to: • Provide real-time AI coaching and post-match analysis. • Track your skill progression and generate personalized insights. • Manage your account, subscription, and billing. • Improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized usage analytics. • Communicate important updates about the Service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data shared with AI providers is used solely to generate coaching responses and is not retained by those providers beyond their standard processing windows.

3. Third-Party Services

LaneMind integrates with the following third-party services: • Supabase — Authentication, user accounts, and database hosting. Data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy. • Stripe — Payment processing for subscriptions. LaneMind does not store your credit card details; all payment data is handled by Stripe. See stripe.com/privacy. • OpenDota — Public match data and player statistics fetched via their free API. See docs.opendota.com. • STRATZ — Advanced match analytics, hero meta data, and lane analysis. See stratz.com/privacy. • AI Providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google) — Pro subscribers' gameplay context is sent to our default AI provider to generate coaching advice. BYOK users send data directly to their chosen provider. Each provider has its own data handling policies.

4. Data Retention

Your gameplay statistics and coaching history are retained for as long as your account is active. Local data stored on your device (match history, settings, cached stats) remains under your control and can be exported or deleted at any time from the Settings panel. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you. • Request correction of inaccurate data. • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"). • Export your data in a portable format. • Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis. • Object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@lanemind.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

The LaneMind website uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The desktop application uses Electron's local storage (electron-store) to persist your settings, cached match data, and session state. This data never leaves your device unless you use features that require server communication (e.g., syncing stats, AI coaching).

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure credential storage using Electron's safeStorage API, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will promptly notify affected users in the event of a data breach.

8. Children's Privacy

LaneMind is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the application or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Contact
